This classical guitar cover of “Hyrule Castle Theme” from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is so good, you’ll swear you heard Zelda’s voice calling out to you through the stormy night. Originally composed by Koji Kondo, the song crystallized an iconic opening environment for a new generation Zelda game that would define an era.
This guitar cover is arranged and performed by Nathan Bredeson, who plays alongside François Lacelle and Alex Bougie, who make up the remaining members of the trio.
The Ottawa Guitar Trio describes themselves as “a dynamic Canadian classical guitar ensemble dedicated to promoting the versatility of the classical guitar and pushing the boundaries of the guitar trio medium with original compositions as well as arrangements spanning from classical music to film and instrumental video game music covers.”
